Greeting the year of 2013, I'd like to start by saying a big thanks for your continuous support and for your business in 2012. It has been a pleasure for us helping you reach your development goals, and we look forward to working with you again soon!

Earlier this month, we have posted an update to the WebUI Studio 2012 R2 installer which includes newer products build across ASP.NET, Silverlight and WPF tools for enhanced cross-platform compatibility and improved reliability. The comprehensive technical samples are now included starting from this release, which is available for both Silverlight and WPF. You can download the latest installer here.

We have recently released new product updates that include important reliability and stability improvements. SQLReportViewer receives dozens of new features such as linked parameter as well as layout and table rendering improvements. Furthermore, WebGrid is now able to preserve white space in data display, editing and filtering. Manipulate row position in WebGrid

A member is questioning on how to move row from the same position. However, this can be achieved by manipulating row position but the changes could not be saved into database since it does not allow changing row position. Learn more.

 

Change the group info in UXGridView

Member Taj James is wondering how to hide the item count in UXGridView�s RowGroupHeader. By default, UXGridView will show the count of items in group info. In this case, Taj James is willing to hide the item count instead. Learn more.

 

Sort WebGrid by displayed text instead of value



Community member Eric is trying to implement data sorting by displayed text. By default, WebGrid will perform sorting based on value. In some cases, when ValueList is used, the text and value are different. In this thread, Eric is figuring out how to sort the text instead of value. This is possible by using SortKeyField property.
