Xamarin Studio 4.2 Enhancements |
Our most recent release introduced several significant improvements. Changes to the way Xamarin.iOS binds Objective-C protocols make it easier to adopt a protocol and optional methods. Support for Asset Catalogs makes it easy to manage the variety of images required in an iOS project for icons and launch screens at different resolutions. Portable Class Library (PCL) support is now part of Xamarin Studio, and there are enhancements to version control for Git and Subversion, the Android designer, debugging, source analysis and more.
