2011 WEBUI STUDIO ROADMAP DETAILS.

Last year we successfully delivered hundreds of new, high-quality controls to our Silverlight and WPFsuite ? our most innovative release ever. This year we will maintain our track record by delivering advanced data processing controls such as Data Grid, Data Pager, Scheduler, and Tree View right to your Visual Studio toolbox. Thanks to the solid ClientUI Framework, these new controls will be engineered with the same powerful architecture and features which enable many key scenarios such as loosely-coupled application architecture, and a unified development model.
ASP.NET developers will be amazed by the update to our mature ASP.NET lineups. WebCombo users can look forward to a version 5 that includes major features upgrade such as client-side binding with built-in support for web service and WCF service, virtual rendering, style merging, and more.
Customers can directly access the complete road map by logging into Intersoft Developer Network. Interested parties can email sales@intersoftpt.com to request a copy. You can also join Jimmy in this special blog post discussing our year-long plan, and what you can expect from Intersoft.

JOIN THE UXGRIDVIEW CTP PROGRAM.

UXGridView's release date is just around the corner and we are now providing CTP code for you to test. UXGridView is built on a simple premise: a truly LoB Silverlight and WPF data grid with full support for MVVM design pattern including server query, paging, and editing (CUD) operation.
The first CTP provides core and fundamental feature sets, such as data interaction features (group, sort, and filter), common lay-outing features (column freeze, row height), rich UI elements (status bar, column header), and more. Details here.
The second CTP deeply expands its feature sets with MVVM-ready data validation and editing capabilities. It definitively raises the bar with the introduction of batch editing mode, similar to the one in WebGrid Enterprise. Read Jimmy's comment on the second post here.
Join the UXGridView CTP Program.
For more insight, don't miss Andry's posts explaining UXGridView's feature sets. UXGridView Part II covers the MVVM data access using QueryDescriptor; the third part talks about UXGridView's fundamental features, while the fourth part explains everything about data validation and editing.
Also join Bill Gower as he shares his experiences using UXGridView in real-world scenarios. Read his thoughts about the UXGridView here and how QueryDescriptor simplifies his application development here.
Download the latest ClientUI assemblies, UXGridView CTP2 assemblies, and sample solutions for both Silverlight and WPF.The Silverlight sample comes with two editions. The first uses WCF RIA as the data service while the other uses DevForce from IdeaBlade. You need to have ClientUI 4 installed to be able to run the sample. DevForce 6.0.8 is required for DevForce sample solution.

ENHANCED CLIENTUI NAVIGATION FRAMEWORK FOR WPF.

When it comes to navigation, developers often assume that it is entirely Web-based. Although not wrong, it's not entirely correct either. Every application task utilizing more than one screen should employ a reliable navigation interface.
Enhanced ClientUI Navigation Framework for WPF.
Jimmy recently wrote a post specifically discussing navigation in a desktop application, outlining the benefits of having a structured navigation and how to create one using ClientUI.
ClientUI's unified development concept enables developer to deliver an identical application running in two platforms. Every UI rendering, behaviors, and even the navigation works on both without any code adjustment. Read more about this interesting topic and download the navigation template to get started today.
