| New Year's Resolutions Bernardo Castilho, Chief Technology Officer
| | | We have all welcomed in the new year, and now that there has been enough time to for it to sink in -- what are your resolutions for 2015? I came across a statistic that of all the resolutions made, less than 10% are achieved. When we make these resolutions, they are typically something we feel is attainable and offer a benefit to our mental, physical, financial or professional health. | As for me, I had quite a few resolutions in mind this year that made sense but I realized I had to choose. Those who have followed my blogs, may know me best as a .NET guy and yes, that was my focus for many years. Over the last few years though, my interests have grown to encompass JavaScript and AngularJS. At the end of 2014, I wrote a white paper that discussed migrating an application away from Silverlight to HTML/JavaScript. This paper gave a quick sample and a clear path for interested developers. So based on the feedback I received, my 2015 resolution is to write more white papers for you, our clients, so that you can find solutions that may work for you -- both quickly and easily, while letting me do the initial leg work. I look forward to working towards this goal and would like to hear from you what topics you would find of interest. Please email press@componentone.com with your white paper topic suggestions. |
